Our Story

Kia ora tātou from Luna and her team at HoyaHoya. 

We’re a Hoya loving Kiwi family, based in Nelson.  A Japanese friend inspired our name, HoyaHoya (ほやほや), meaning ‘new’ and ‘fresh’.  And it works pretty well for us too because we also collect, and occasionally share, rare Hoya.

HoyaHoya is our ‘new’ beginning.  A chance to share our love and knowledge of Hoya with others.  

For any indoor-plant lover, whether they be a veteran or a newbie, the indoor plant universe is huge, and even daunting, at times.  New products and plant varieties demand your dollar – but what will you get the best results?
