Hoya cv ‘mini dasy’ - 1

Hoya cv ‘mini dasy’ (unknown NZ cross) is one of our very special NZ hybridisations. These are not widely in circulation and a bit of a treat to have in your collection. They are a bit of a mystery and that’s also part of what makes them special, in addition to being ‘kiwi made’.

Being grown from an open-pollinated mother plant, its exact parents are not completely certain. Our current hypothesis is that Hoya daysantha and Hoya cv “Minibelle’ could be in this hoya’s genetic gene pool, but this is simply a hypothesis!

What we can tell you about this beautiful kiwi cross is that she is unique, has relatively long deep green leaves, and a small ball of carnosa-style white flowers. She has a real sweetness to her.

Being hybridised in NZ, this is a hardy hoya that suits our local conditions throughout the year. No heat pads or artificial light support is needed for this hoya to thrive.
